Pinewood Coffee Co., the coffee roasting arm of the multi-faceted hospitality group behind Nashville’s iconic Pinewood Social, is branching out with a dedicated space within the Monarch Showroom for luxury vehicles. The new venture promises wholesale and direct-to-consumer sales, led by industry veteran Robbie Meton, who brings years of experience from Barista Parlor, Good Citizen Coffee Company, and Steadfast Coffee.
The Pinewood Coffee Co. roastery is launching with four blends, five single-origins, and one decaf, all meticulously crafted on a Roest S100 before larger batches are produced using a Loring S15 Falcon roaster. Green coffees hail from reputable importers such as Bridging Tables, Hacienda La Minita, Honduran producer José Balbino Meza, and the Long Miles Coffee Project, among others.
According to Meton, Pinewood Coffee Co.’s mission is to highlight sweetness, clarity, and natural character in their roasts. They prioritize working with partners who share their values of stewardship, long-term trust, and quality. “We believe in ethical and transparent labor practices, environmental responsibility, and long-term producer partnerships,” Meton explained to Daily Coffee News.
While Pinewood Social’s coffee program will continue to rely on Nashville mainstay Crema Coffee Roasters, the new venture signifies a significant expansion for the hospitality group. The Pinewood Coffee Co. space features a full kitchen and dining area for tastings and samples, which Monarch Showroom also uses for community and charity events.
Although the roastery isn’t intended as a retail café, it serves as both a production hub and an educational space for cuppings, training sessions, and partner visits.
