Greg La Follette Is Resurrecting California’s Forgotten French Colombard
Before Chardonnay dominated the landscape, French Colombard was California’s most widely planted white grape. Winemaker Greg La Follette is now resurrecting this forgotten powerhouse by sourcing fruit from century-old vines planted in North America back in 1902.
